A house behind ours went up in flames last Saturday night. It’s amazing how fast the fire took hold, we woke up to what sounded like fireworks, looked out the window, and were greeted with this sight. The house was empty for a while so nobody was hurt, and the fire brigade arrived fairly quickly aswell. What we see here is the struggle between the fire and the water from the hoses.

Took this out by the ‘Magic Roundabout’ in Cork last night. Took a good few but feel this is the best one. Wouldn’t mind getting one with the poles in the middle, but the camera kept on slipping!! Didn’t want to cause a pile-up, may have to revisit it. . .
Also just noticed that the right hand side of the picture is cut off. You’ll get a better view if you click on the picture. When I re-size it some of the lines are affected.
